All Makes and Models Serviced and Repaired
Whilst we do specialise in Mercedes Benz vehicles, we are able to offer servicing and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles, including light commercial vans and motorhomes.
We also have the latest diagnostic equipment for all V.A.G vehicles including Audi, VW, Skoda and Seat which enables us to scan vehicles to find faults and resolve issues.
We have courtesy cars available if you require one when your vehicle is in with us, simply ask our team when you make your appointment.
MOTs
Class 4 & Class 7
We are passionate about what we do and make sure all vehicles are to the best standard they can be when they leave our workshop. MOTs are a legal requirement to keep your vehicle on the road and in a well maintained condition.
At S M Autocare we are able to carry out both Class 4 and Class 7 (light goods vehicles) MOTs.
MOTs can be carried out a calendar month earlier than its expiry date so you have plenty of time to get it booked in. They can not exceed their MOT dates.
Vehicle Diagnostics
We are always investing in the latest state of the art diagnostic equipment to ensure we are able to deal with any faults your vehicle may face. Our dealer standard tools and diagnostic support, combined with our extensive knowledge and experience mean that we can diagnose faults easier.
Often faults will show as a light on the dash board. If this occurs, get in touch with our team and we can book your vehicle in as soon as possible for an initial investigation using our diagnostic equipment.
Tyres
Arguably, one of the most important features on any vehicle is your tyres. According to the DVSA, 10% of all failed MOTs are due to poor tyre condition. It is important to make sure you have good tread depth, the legal limit is 1.6mm, and to make sure they are in good condition with no bald spots, bulges or cuts.
We are able to offer a wide selection of choice from budget tyres to premium ones and everything in between, along with all season and snow tyres.
Air Conditioning
Servicing and re-gassing your cars air conditioning system is vital for keeping your vehicle ready for those summer months as well as keeping the air quality in your vehicle high.
